We are in Lasseube, in the heart of Béarn, between the hills and mountains of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques (64). In September, the Jurançon grape harvest is in full swing. Combining tradition, technical expertise and passion, local winegrower Nicolas Guilhem shares his experience with PG32 SLPA® vine posts, galvanised steel vine training solutions renowned for their robustness.

A demanding terroir, a precious harvest
In this sloping vineyard, Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng grapes produce white wines with a rich aroma. The harvest is carried out manually and precisely, in several stages. Before reaching the winery, it all starts in the lines, where the quality of the trellising plays an essential role.
Nicolas chose PG32 SLPA® trellising posts for their reliability in the rugged terrain of Jurançon.
PG32 vine stakes, suitable for sloping vineyards
In hillside wine-growing regions, the strength of the trellis is essential.
The PG32 vine post from the SLPA® range, made of galvanised steel for greater strength and durability, ensures perfect tension of the trellis wires even on long, sloping rows.
Its closed design guarantees excellent stability, ideal for difficult soils and the passage of grape harvesters. It also allows for better organisation of work, particularly when seasonal workers are present.
