1. A major event for the kiwi industry
The Kiwi Technical Forum (FTK) was held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Montardon, on the farm of Yann and Clément Ménétrier. This event, organized by SCAAP and supported by Agro Campus 64 and Le Sillon newspaper, is a highlight for the industry. It brings together producers, technicians, and suppliers to discuss the innovations and practices that are shaping the future of kiwifruit. This 7th edition gave participants the opportunity to visit orchards with commentary from the cooperative’s technicians and to discover a Haegum yellow kiwi orchard for the first time. SLPA was among the 20 exhibitors present, with the aim of presenting an innovative technical solution: the Safe T.Bar Kit.

At the FTK, SLPA was able to showcase the technical details that make the difference: an opening at the top of the bracket to limit wasp nesting, adjustable reverse bending to better support the weight of the fruit, and an innovative spring steel pin that effectively locks the corner wires on long lines. All these practical features are attracting the interest of fruit growers looking for reliability and ease of use.

The decision to hold the forum directly in an orchard provided the ideal setting for demonstrations and practical discussions. Producers were able to talk to exhibitors, compare solutions, and assess their suitability in real-world conditions.
