1995-2025 :
The future takes shape with SLPA

A word from the CEO

Since 1995, SLPA has become the French reference in steel profiling, relying on deep expertise in its trades and markets, as well as strong values:

  • Advice and support for our clients on high value-added projects, from prototyping to refining our solutions, ensuring optimal quality and tailored responses.
  • Closeness and listening from our teams, constantly in the field, to understand and anticipate the expectations and constraints of users of our solutions.
  • Skills development of the entire team, by supporting and promoting internal advancement and training experts in our trades.
Cyrille Rigo SLPA

“At SLPA, we shape far more than steel; we support the crops, the projects, and the people who nurture them. We believe in the power of ideas and make it a point to listen to those who trust us to bring their projects to life. Because supporting growth also means understanding the expectations of those who drive it.”

Jérémy LASSALLE, SLPA Director

30 years of expertise and innovation

A company built on a rich industrial heritage

  • 1995: Company founded on July 12, 1995, in Geaune (40).
  • 2001: SLPA was transferred by its founder to former employees of PAB Sud-Ouest, a manufacturer of metal structures. That same year, the production of viticultural trellis stakes was launched in the vineyards of Charente, Cognac, and Gers.
  • 2010: To accommodate its growth, SLPA moved to Hagetmau (40), in the former CAPDEVIELLE premises, a declining French furniture icon.

Exploring new markets and expanding production capacity

  • 2011: Creation of the sheet metal division – diversification of production capacities for industrial subcontracting.
  • 2016: SLPA expanded and inaugurated its second production site, adjacent to its historic headquarters, in the former SPSO premises in Hagetmau. Installation of long-length profiling lines.
  • 2019: SLPA strengthened its position as an industrial subcontractor by responding to the growth of promising markets for integration supports for photovoltaic solutions (agricultural buildings, canopies, solar farms, etc.).
  • 2021: Launch of large-scale stamping activity.

Facing our customers' challenges with SLPA's expertise and innovation

  • 2021: Cyrille RIGO takes over the management of the company, which joins the LE TRIANGLE group ecosystem, already a historic client of SLPA.
  • 2022: SLPA initiates the legal registration of its flagship stakes: SL+®, SLE®, Vulcain®, and Perfo®. The same year, a patent application is filed for a modular trellising system designed to protect vineyards: the CCW (Cool Climate Wine) kit. Entry into the “Factory of the Future” programs (CCI Nouvelle Aquitaine), French Fab, and Inno’Vin.
  • 2023: successful launch of the new Safe T-bar kit in the kiwifruit market.
  • 2024: issuance of the French patent for the CCW kit, renamed the INT3NSE system (trademark) for its launch and large-scale marketing in Canada. C. RIGO becomes CEO of the LE TRIANGLE Group, and Jérémy LASSALLE becomes Director of SLPA.
  • 2025: launch of two new viticultural trellising stakes references to meet specific regional demands: PCL and PRG 70.

In 2025: ever greater commitment to the industrial, winegrowing, and tree-farming sectors

For 30 years, SLPA’s actions have been driven by the belief that closeness, listening, and responsibility are essential levers for the success of every project. In 2025, SLPA strengthens its commitments by relying on its deep knowledge of its markets, its strong partnerships, and its technical expertise to continue delivering concrete solutions to our clients’ challenges.

For industry

Steel profiling for industry is a historic and strategic expertise for SLPA, requiring a deep understanding of our clients’ needs and optimal adaptability. Our diverse machinery fleet and extensive experience in steel profiling enable us to offer our clients flexibility and responsiveness, ensuring the success of the most demanding projects.
  • SLPA supports industrial clients from A to Z, from tooling design to mass production, to co-develop efficient projects with them.
  • SLPA handles large-scale industrial projects for major French players: scaffolding, cladding, bodywork, buildings, and photovoltaic structures…

For viticulture

In 2022, the creation of the brand SLPA® allowed us to structure the range of viticultural trellising products, while enhancing our market references. In 2025, SLPA continues its ambition to meet the challenges of a sector facing multiple demands by offering ever more technical, durable, and sustainable solutions.
  • SLPA offers the widest range of vine stakes, incorporating new innovations each year,
  • Expands its distributor network to cover nearly all vineyards, both historic (Alsace, Burgundy, Maconnais, Cognac…) and emerging (such as Brittany),
  • Develops specific products for international markets (Canada, Scandinavia, Benelux, Great Britain, Mexico…), such as the INT3NSE system (registered trademark).

For tree farming

In 2023, SLPA successfully launched the new version of the Safe T-Bar kit, specifically designed for trellising in kiwifruit cultivation. This technical advancement was developed in close partnership with industry stakeholders to meet the needs and constraints of kiwifruit growers.

This collective success reinforces SLPA’s ambition to extend its expertise to new crops, ensuring the sustainability of farms tomorrow while significantly reducing their production constraints.

In 2025, SLPA is testing new prototypes aimed notably at trellising fruit crops.

SLPA COMMITS

The future shapes sustainably

SLPA is committed to a sustainable approach to reducing its carbon footprint.

In 2025, a CSR working group will be created, involving all teams to discuss and develop our action plan.

Energy consumption

We are initiating a rationalised consumption approach (Building Management System) to improve energy management at our sites. In 2022, two photovoltaic power plants were installed on the two production buildings: 5,000 m² of solar panels representing a production of 1 MWhc.

picto eco

Sourcing of raw materials

We encourage our suppliers to compete to find raw materials with the lowest carbon footprint (for transport and manufacturing, such as XCarb® steel) and/or with the highest proportion of recycled steel.

picto indus

Waste management and packaging

We are reducing the amount of raw materials (wood, plastics, etc.) used and seeking solutions designed with eco-friendly materials.

picto simu

Transport and freight

Nous réduisons la quantité de matières premières (bois, plastiques, etc.) utilisées et recherchons des solutions conçues avec des matériaux respectueux de l’environnement.
