1995-2025 :
Shaping the future with SLPA

A word from the CEO

Since 1995, SLPA has become a leading French specialist in cold formed steel profiling, drawing on deep expertise in its fields and strong values:

  • Advising and supporting our clients on high-value projects, from prototyping to solution refinement, to ensure optimum quality and tailored results.
  • Working closely with our clients and listening carefully on site, to understand and meet the needs and challenges faced by users of our solutions.
  • Building team capability by nurturing internal talent and providing targeted training to grow our professional expertise.

“At SLPA, we shape much more than steel. We support the crops, the projects and the people who bring them to life. We believe in the power of ideas and take pride in listening to those who trust us with their projects. Because supporting growth also means understanding the expectations of those who drive it.”

Jérémy Lassalle, SLPA Director

30 years of expertise and innovation
in cold formed steel

A company built on a rich industrial heritage

  • 1995: SLPA was founded on 12 July 1995 in Geaune (Landes), laying the foundation for its future expertise in cold formed steel and precision profiling.
  • 2001: SLPA passed from its founder to former employees of PAB Sud-Ouest, a manufacturer of metal structures. That same year, the company began producing line posts for the vineyards of Charente, Cognac and Gers.
  • 2010: To support its growth, SLPA moved to Hagetmau (Landes), taking over the former CAPDEVIELLE site, a onetime flagship of French furniture.

Exploring new markets and expanding production capacity

  • 2011: Creation of the sheet metal division, expanding production capacity for industrial subcontracting.
  • 2016: SLPA expands and opens its second production site, next to its original headquarters, in the former SPSO facilities in Hagetmau. Long-length profiling lines are installed.
  • 2019: SLPA strengthens its position as an industrial subcontractor by responding to the growing market for support structures used in photovoltaic installations (agricultural buildings, shading canopies, solar farms, etc.).
  • 2021: Launch of large-scale stamping operations.

SLPA expertise and innovation serving our clients’ challenges

  • 2021: Cyrille Rigo takes over management of the company, which joins the LE TRIANGLE Group ecosystem, already a historic SLPA client.
  • 2022: SLPA files for legal protection of its main vineyard post models: SL+®, SLE®, Vulcain® and Perfo®. That same year, a patent application is submitted for a modular trellising system designed to protect vines: the CCW (Cool Climate Wine) kit. SLPA also joins the “Factory of the Future” (CCI Nouvelle-Aquitaine), French Fab and Inno’Vin programmes.
  • 2023: Successful launch of the new Safe T.Bar Kit on the kiwifruit market.
  • 2024: The CCW kit obtains its French patent and is renamed INT3NSE (registered trademark) for its launch and large-scale commercialisation in Canada. Cyrille Rigo becomes CEO of the LE TRIANGLE Group and Jérémy Lassalle becomes Director of SLPA.
  • 2025: Launch of two new vineyard line posts to meet specific regional needs: PCL and PRG 70.

In 2025: stronger dedication to the industrial, winegrowing and fruit-growing sectors

For 30 years, SLPA has been driven by the belief that proximitylistening and responsibility are key to the success of every project.

In 2025, SLPA strengthened its commitments by building on its in-depth knowledge of its markets, solid partnerships and technical expertise to continue delivering practical solutions to client challenges.

Cold formed steel for industry

Steel profiling for industrial applications, particularly in cold formed steel, has always been a key area of expertise for SLPA, demanding in-depth client insight and high adaptability.

Our varied machinery base and long steel profiling experience enable us to respond quickly and adapt to meet the toughest project requirements.

  • SLPA supports industrial partners from start to finish, from tooling design to large-scale production, working together to create efficient projects.
  • SLPA manages large industrial projects for major French companies, including scaffolding, cladding, bodywork, building and photovoltaic structures.

For viticulture

In 2022, the creation of the SLPA® brand helped organise the range of vineyard trellising products while strengthening the visibility of our key models in the market.

In 2025, SLPA built on this momentum, addressing the evolving needs of the vineyard industry with innovative and sustainable solutions.

  • SLPA offers the widest range of vineyard posts, adding new innovations each year.
  • It has expanded its distributor network to cover nearly all vineyards, both established (Alsace, Burgundy, Mâconnais, Cognac) and emerging (such as Brittany).
  • It has developed specialised products for international markets (Canada, Scandinavia, Benelux, Great Britain, Mexico), including the INT3NSE system (registered trademark).

For fruit growing

In 2023, SLPA successfully launched the new version of its Safe T.Bar Kit, designed specifically for trellising in kiwifruit cultivation. This technical development was created in close partnership with industry partners to meet the needs and challenges faced by growers.

This shared success strengthened SLPA’s ambition to extend its expertise to new crops, helping ensure the long-term sustainability of farms while significantly reducing production constraints.

In 2025, SLPA tested new prototypes designed in particular for fruit crop trellising.

SLPA COMMITS

Building a sustainable future

SLPA is taking action to reduce its carbon footprint over the long term.

In 2025, a CSR working group was created, bringing together all teams to share ideas and shape a concrete action plan.

Energy consumption

We have begun a rationalised energy use approach (Building Management System) to improve the energy performance of our sites. In 2022, two photovoltaic systems were installed on our two production buildings, covering 5,000 m² of solar panels generating 1 MWp of power.

Sourcing of raw materials

We challenge our suppliers to source raw materials with the lowest possible carbon footprint, both in transport and production, such as XCarb® steel, and with the highest recycled steel content.

picto indus

Waste management and packaging

We are reducing the use of raw materials such as wood and plastics and seeking solutions made with eco-friendly materials.

Transport and freight

We work to optimise delivery routes and explore alternatives to road freight.

A big thank you to our partners,
clients and teams.
